Job Description

Monitor and maintain website performance: Ensure availability, stability and optimal performance of the e-commerce platform by monitoring key performance indicators and conducting regular site audits at a code and infrastructure level.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues affecting the e-com platforms, liaising with internal teams and external vendors as necessary.Ensure a continuous improvement mindset proactively identifying root cause and defining required actions following each troubeshooting and documenting actions to be taken.Optimize infrastructure and backend processes for business users: Collaborate with development teams and infrastructure teams to optimize processes, ensuring efficient processes and reducing manual intervention. Implement and enforce security measures: Work with security teams to protect the e-commerce platform from cyber threats by implementing and maintaining security protocols and conducting regular vulnerability assessments.Maintain documentation and conduct knowledge sharing: Create and update technical documentation related to operations processes and procedures and share relevant knowledge with team members to improve overall efficiency.Maintain Mobility eco-system: Ability to optimize and fine tune integration between backend and native applications (iOS, Android)Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with development, QA, product, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless user experience and timely resolution of issues.Develop and implement monitoring and alerting systems: Design and deploy automated systems to monitor the health and performance of the e-commerce platform and set up alerts to notify relevant parties in case of issues.Stay current with industry trends and best practices: Continuously research and adopt the latest web operations best practices and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the e-commerce market.Participate in on-call rotation: Be available to provide support when needed, responding to incidents and emergencies in a timely manner.What youll need to succeed

• Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Magento architecture and native application integrations layers with Magento backend
• Proficient in PHP back-end development, front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Git, Apache, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with OMS, PIM, and Elastic Search is preferable.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with GCP / AWS or other cloud services is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
