Thats on top of a tax-free salary and amazing travel perks.About The RoleAs the Resource Officer -TBM you will be responsible to a dminister, review and constantly enhance the process for Sourcing Suppliers and contingent workers. Manage and monitor the induction process for all Emirates Group IT staff and exit process for all contingent workers. You will ensure appropriate adherence of supplier contracts and on a timely basis gather feedback from consultants, in order to improve terms and conditions in line with the needs of consultants. Provide front line contingent worker advice and support through consistent and fair implementation processes and procedures to EG-IT Line Departments in a timely and professional manner, ensuring quality service across all departments. You will maintain Technology Business Management (TBM) cost model, drive optimizations and validate that business cases are fully supported by the proper technical and financial details as derived from the TBM model. You will be responsible for conducting Technology Business Management analysis and support under the guidance and direction of TBM Office, Technology Finance and Technology Management and in collaboration with TBM Analyst. This role will serve as the technology subject matter expert and power user on a TBM cost model which provides transparency into the Groups technology products and services. Support the TBM model to ensure that the various departments within technology drive a reduction in IT unit costs and maximize IT resource utilization as well as ensuring the department is being run in line with industry standards.What Youll Be Expected To Do:- Execute and support the Cloud Cost Management strategy built on the core principles of the FinOps model considering all the different necessities, needs and points of view within a complex Enterprise- Advise and guide contingent workers and managers on contingent worker policies ensuring they are understood and applied in a consistent and effective manner. This includes advising as well as participating in the grievance and capability process and performance management reviews for junior grades. Advise supervisory staff on setting contingent worker performance management objectives and development plans and conducting briefing sessions and workshops to ensure that staff in these grades have a clear understanding of the performance management process and its functionalities- Prepare and implement the review of contingent worker rates, in liaison with Sourcing Services Manager and allowances, in liaison with the hiring managers. Recommend any changes to rate and allowances based on the review or the introduction of new tools to improve retention of high performers.- Responsible for the smooth handling of all supplier billing identified as complex billing including telecoms, sourcing supplier payables in a timely manner ensuring invoices are accurate and appropriate in terms of rates, volumes discounts etc. as per contractual agreements, in liaison with Accounts/Finance/Audit. Recommend improvements to processes and provide necessary reports and metrics to the IT management on a monthly basis. In case of exceptions to the contract, ensure that the necessary approvals are obtained from the Line Managers and they are documented and implemented.- Manage contract extensions, seeking justifications and approvals from management, challenge as appropriate. Ensure that necessary records are updated and that necessary work orders are released to agencies to guarantee seamless continuity/termination as required. Monitor contract extensions and termination for staff on temporary, part-time or fixed term contracts.- Continuously drive adoption and maturity of the entire TBM Framework throughout IT to drive data-based decision making through providing insights and call to action.- Act as point of contact for Business Information Officers and other Technology Management on Financial/Technical metrics and the TBM cost model. Ensure a thorough understanding of Enterprise Technology products, services, and organization. Collaborate with Technology Management and Finance on technology `Total Cost of Ownership, financial metrics, and cost transparency initiatives.- Act as point of contact for Business Information Officers and other Technology Management on Financial/Technical metrics and the TBM cost model. Serve as the subject matter expert for the system, addressing new report and dashboard requests, questions, issues, and training requests.- Responsible for reporting configuration and design, system, and user testing, troubleshooting, and training. Document and troubleshoot data feeds impacting the TBM applications. Complete reconciliations to various systems of record, such as technical inventories, technical utilization metrics, incident volumes, the ledger system, fixed assets, personnel system, project tracking system, and others. Operationalize data monthly by loading, validating, and reviewing on timely basis.- Gather functional and business requirements and translate that information into a working set of operational and financial models, dashboards, and management reports. Partner with other Technology teams to help make recommendations for operational improvements that impact data quality and/or help reduce unit costs. Track recommendations to completion. Translate technology long term objectives into clear deliverables derived from the TBM cost model.- Maintain the Chief Technology Officer scorecard (metrics dashboard) by collecting, consolidating, and reporting related key IT metrics and benchmark data. Continuous dialogue with leaders across Technology to ensure timely and accurate completion of cost management and metrics deliverables.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience and Skills Youll Need To Have:- Degree in Computer Science, Business, Management or Finance ITIL certified and 2+ Years of experience in Information Technology or Project Management- Alternatively, if you do not hold a degree, 12 years schooling and 5+ Years of experience in Information Technology or Project Management- Experience in a large multinational Technology organisation preferred- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for IT financials- Strong to expert level skills and experience in formulaic logic such as MS Excel if statements, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, etc.- Strong to expert skills in data transformation using MS Excel or Access- Knowledge and application of relational database concepts- Excellent communication and presentation skills to executive management audiences- Infrastructure background- Data analytics and data mining and Advanced analytical and big data analysis skills- Previous experience working with scripting, report building, etc. In-depth knowledge of the TBM model- In-depth knowledge of the Apptio tool- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with multiple levels of management and staff across the organisation- Understanding of IT infrastructure domains including Cloud computing, data centres, network/communications, server utilization, virtual environments, storage, and application development- Knowledge of IT services and financial management processes and best practices such as budgeting, cost allocations, capital & operating expense handling, program portfolio management, and application/infrastructure support- Strong ITIL or Service Management backgroundLeadership Role: NoHow Youll Work:- This is a permanent role based full time in our Dubai officeEmirates.
