Employment: Full Time Objectives:This position is responsible to ensure that the Raw material of the company has the appropriate inventory levels while maintaining the highest level of quality and cost effectiveness.Main responsibilities:Coordinate all planning activities to ensure timely and cost effective planning & purchasing of RMObtain SAP data, analyse the same & bring out the areas of improvement.Conducts research & look for cross regional opportunities to improve cost structure.Obtain competitive prices quotes from Raw material vendors on regular basisReview daily inventory levels to ensure optimum inventory levels.Prepare costing reports and react proactively to solve potential cost overrun issues.Coordinate between supplier and internal customers to resolve issues related to quality, process performance, supply, and project management through the QBR process.Handling of import logistics and clearanceUnderstanding of demographics to visualise most cost effective logistics.Should be able to understand & negotiate logistics costs.Reporting to: Procurement DirectorNumber required: 1Desired start date: ASAPDuration: PermanentProbation: 6 MONTHSWorking Hours: Monday - FridayTravel requirements: Depend on the business requirementsCommission / Bonus: N/AOther Benefits: As per UAE Law REQUIREMENTS: Specialist knowledge:Negotiation & Analytical Skills .Good computer literacy with Excellent excel skills for better analyzing of large amount data.Knowledge of SAP is a must.Maintain high level of integrity and confidentiality.Able to work independently, prioritize assignments, and achieve desired results.Nature and length of previous experience:Minimum 5 Years of Experience in Supply chain, planning, procurement.University Qualifications:Bachelor in Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering.Soft Skills and Personality traits: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Able to work independently, prioritize assignments, and achieve desired results.Gender Preference:MaleLanguage Fluency:Fluent oral and written skills in English, and any other European language like French, Italian or Dutch.Current Location:Dubai
