PROFESSIONAL SERVICES/INTEGRATION DEVELOPERWhat will you be doing at Statys Connect?We are looking for a strong candidate for the role of Professional Services/Integration Developer to be responsible for supporting the integration of ecommerce APIs and plugins and payment processing solutions with our user bases? websites. This position is both a customer facing role that requires exceptional collaborative skills, and a role requiring the ability to build strong relationships with other team members inside the company as well as with our marketplace users and the technical resources from our 3rd party service providers. This role requires integration skills and some software development talent which will be utilized for incorporating our ecommerce platform?s end points, and/or writing custom solutions, with a user?s cart technology. Regularly interfacing with users and service providers is an expectation for this role.The ideal candidate is a forward-thinker, has an entrepreneurial attitude and customer service aptitude.?The individual will need to be persuasive, organized, and possess strong and proven communication skills.?It is very important that they can work independently and across all functional areas of the company, and influence without authority.   • Be responsible for integration of our service providers? ecommerce platform and payment gateway plugins and APIs into our users? ecommerce websites, based on what has been sold by B2B Telesales team
  • Possess an understanding that buying decisions in B2B sales are made differently than in a consumer sales, and that our users are small businesses looking to acquire solutions that will produce immediate and valuable outcomes for their companies, and that timely and working integrations are essential to Statys Connect?s success
  • Work with Account Manager/Onboarding Specialist team to collect user?s technical requirements, then create implementation and production deployment procedures to interoperate and work within a user?s website
  • Requires candidate to develop a technical mastery of our service provider?s ecommerce platform offering and its associated modules and end-points
  • Requires candidate to develop a technical mastery of our service provider?s hosted payment gateway and processing offering and end-points
  • Must have expertise in integrating APIs/Plugins e.g. from an Order Management System, Catalog Management System, and Hosted Payment Systems into ecommerce sites (i.e. WooCommerce)
  • Must also have the ability to integrate/program in multiple languages to make our technology work within the user?s chosen ecommerce cart technology
  • Develop custom scripts and integrations to fulfil a user?s needs, as required
  • Manage remote integrations of our ecommerce platform and payment gateway/processing solutions
  • Assessing a user?s technology and identifying gaps in the integration plan that will need to be addressed
  • Communicate these gaps to services providers, Account Manager/Onboarding Specialists, and company?s senior leadership
  • Execute according to defined user/project requirements and escalate issues to senior leadership
  • Support integration projects by delivering timely status updates to internal teams (Account Manager/Onboarding Specialists and B2B Telesales)
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues to resolve user problems, obtain support for complex situations from service providers, and communicate status to users and service providers
  • Document project status for internal teams and users, including but not limited to, project scheduling, project tracking and status/completion reporting
  • Provide remote support to users during the testing, evaluation/pilot, and production phases to ensure a successful deployment
  • Analyze and interpret test information to resolve problems and write technical reports, as necessary
  • Responsible for documentation of technical activities (e.g. installation and configuration of APIs and plugins for different cart technologies), and continuously updating the documentation on our company?s developer portal
  • Provide ongoing support to the Account Manager/Onboarding Specialists and B2B Telesales teams by conducting demo sessions, orientation sessions and technical advice to users in coordination with their account
  • Interface as needed with our services provider?s Product Managers and Application Support teams
  • Support service providers with knowledge transfer as needed to enable their software?s compatibility with other ecommerce technologies
  • Conduct internal knowledge transfer sessions with other members of the Professional Services team
  • All other duties as assigned
