Job Description

We are looking for a strong Project Logistics Pricing professional with extensive experience in the freight forwarding industry for our National Project Logistics Pricing Manager role in Dubai. Your Role The Pricing Manager purpose is to manage the Project Logistics entire pricing team for all modes of transport and all classifications of cargo. To assure that procurement methods are developed and maintained with strategic suppliers of services and that all pricing staff are qualified for their roles. The Pricing Manager objective is to procure the most competitive pricing with the safest and highest service quality. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the pricing center team.
  • Ensure all available and approved pricing tools and portals are known to the pricing team.
  • Ensure the team structure is set to cover all modes of transport for all types of cargo e.g. out of gauge, break bulk, charter, DG, air, sea, road.
  • Provide cross-training opportunities for all staff to cover all modes of transport for all types of cargo.
  • Ensure all service providers fall into a KN subcontractor management program - local, national, global.
  • Ensure awareness of Project Logistics financial acumen.
  • Perform monthly analysis on quote performance e.g. wins, losses and margin percentage.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives for pricing for core services.
  • Ensure automation for updating buy and sell rates into TMS.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Sales and Account Management in the freight forwarding industry in the UAE and Oman Market.
  • Proven track record in working with Project Logistics/Oil & Gas and Energy customers.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and resolve internal and external conflicts.
  • Powers of persuasion, diplomatic panache and excellent command in English language.#LI-PA1
