• Work closely with various stakeholders (both internal and external) to identify, evaluate, execute, and monitor investment / divestments opportunities.

Job Details ? Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Partner with business leaders to identify and develop actionable transactions that fit the business strategy of the Group
• Lead and drive all aspects of M&A transactions while working closely with cross-functional teams to organize and execute transactions
• Lead transaction execution across the entire deal life cycle, and partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams for the successful execution of M&A projects
• Lead the due diligence process with cross-functional teams (including Finance, commercial, operations, human resources, information technology, legal, etc.) to complete efficient and effective due diligence of targets
• Lead valuation, working capital, and other transaction-related financial matters with the support of advisors and internal teams
• Ensure preparation of concise, accurate due diligence reports and lead development of plans to mitigate identified risks
• Support the post-merger integration activities and work closely with the post-acquisition team to ensure effective post-acquisition plan management and day-to-day activities.
• Responsible for portfolio management and post investment tracking
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the M&A playbook tools and processes to maintain a robust M&A execution model
• Strong written and analytical skills for deal analysis and internal reporting
• Strong interpersonal skills as our investment team meets with entrepreneurs and other members of the startup community on a regular basis

• Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in leading complex and sizeable deals
• Ability to operate independently and self-motivated
• Highly numeric with strong research and analysis skills
• Experience in post-investment tracking and assessing exit options
• Proficiency with Excel & PowerPoint
• Fluent in English. Arabic is a plus

Minimum experience

• 8-11 years of work experience with private equity, SWFs, large conglomerates, and big 4 accounting firms
• Preferable to have relevant experience in the MENA region
• Proven experience in closing M&A and ECM (equity capital markets) deals

Minimum Qualifications/education

• Bachelor degree in Business, Economics or Finance
• CFA is a plus
