Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONThe IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the security and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware and software used within NRS Relief and subsidiary companies.RESPONSIBILITIESEfficiency & Effectiveness

  • Plan, manage and coordinate the maintenance of all computer/ IT needs for the office.
  • Develop and enforce policy and procedures to ensure the protection of the company?s IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information.
  • Ensure the most cost-effective and efficient use of equipment and programs.
  • Suggest and provide IT solutions to business and management problems.
  • Provide training and technical support for the employees with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence.
  • Responsible for IT Project Management and provides a single point of accountability to deliver the project in accordance with decided budget, time and scope.
Information Technology Management
  • Monitor and support Oracle NetSuite ERP System.
  • Monitor and support HRMS System.
  • Maintaining and Monitoring Application server (IIS) and database server for HRMS.
  • Administering and troubleshooting servers ranging from Windows Servers 2016, Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, Fileserver and VMWARE hypervisor.
  • Maintaining and Monitoring NAS / ISCSI storage infrastructure.
  • Monitoring and supporting MS Office 365 & Rackspace Email subscription and user queries.
  • Maintaining and Monitoring firewall, VPN and network infrastructure.
  • Maintaining and Monitoring wireless infrastructure.
  • Monitor and manage web domain registration and renewal.
  • Monitor and manage Avaya telephonic infrastructure.
  • Monitor and manage access control system and CCTV infrastructure.
Compliance and Risk Management.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems.
  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating NRS International?s outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Undertake routine preventive measures to implement maintain and monitor network availability and security.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing NRS?s acceptable code of conduct.
  • Mitigate and monitor virus / spyware / ransomware attacks with Sophos enterprise security.
Other Duties.
  • Maintain a professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Identify and evaluate future and emerging technologies in information technology.
  • Liaison with Etisalat and DU for all matters relating to the Group of companies.
