Job Description

Graphic & Web Designer | M&S| UAEOverview of the role:The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing creative visual content such as renders for visual installations & marketing collateral. The Graphic Designerwill be instrumental in helping the creative team to deliver wow experiences for our customers. They will have the opportunity to work on various digital projects and create static and animated assets such as banners, push notifications, images, short animations that will be used on our websites and paid channels (Google, Facebook, Instagram..). The job holder willtake full responsibility for interpreting the visual creative direction in order to create production ready packs for physical digital & print media.What you will do:-Description of Accountability:Graphic Standards

  • For this role you need to be a natural designer and have a strong ability to translate visual requirements into exceptional design
  • The position holder will be working with a wide range of graphic media applications which include Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up & Keyshot
  • Think creatively, develop new concepts, graphics & layouts
  • Work with the Visual Manager to create modern and forward thinking design concepts for window, event & in-store activations
  • Must have the ability to create high quality product, whilst working fast & accurately, managing own timelines
  • Understand creative and business needs, understand the brand and its tone of voice
  • Offer innovative ideas & themes in graphical form for various requirements
  • Support visual team in creating visual standard guidelines
  • Support marketing team with seasonal designs
Creating static & animated campaigns
  • GDN (google display network) banners
  • Facebook / Instagram banners, carousels, images
  • Short animations: Gif, MP4
  • Social Media engaging content
  • EDM banners
  • Print: (posers, flyers, vouchers)
General Standards
  • The JH ensures that all media graphic design software is kept up to date & licenses renewed
  • The JH needs to keep abreast of current trends in fashion, architecture & home
  • Collaboration & a teamworking ethos are a must for this role
  • Maintain technical knowledge of software and hardware used to produce prints
Communication
  • The JH should be able to communicate at ease with stakeholders at all levels of the business and will be required to work collaboratively with buying, commercial & marketing teams on occasion.
