Job Description

Job Purpose: The Geotechnical Engineer will support the technical and project management team in both office and at site with regard to various requirements pertaining to soil testing and soil investigation.˙The incumbent will also be responsible for coordinating with clients and consultants on various technical matters and also be involved in preparing reports and preparation of design as would be required.Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Clients/Consultants with regard to project requirements;
  • Review projects requirement, organize and implement appropriate techniques. ˙Assists in the planning, prepare method statement and quality plans for field investigations and supervise lower grade personnel in the field or office on project basis if instructed by senior or lead engineer;
  • Prepare verification/interpretation reports (pre and post) and submit for review approval. ˙Develops foundation soil parameters, design assessment, engineering analyses and prepare final report for approval. Review and check report and engineering analyses of others;
  • Supervision of pre and post soil investigation and testing at site and provide necessary;
  • Establish and maintain long term relations with clients, consultants and business partners;
  • Updated and actively contribute to implementation of published Quality Assurance, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures in the work place.
HSEQ and regulatory compliance:
  • Ensure that organization policies and procedures are understood, implemented, and adhered to;
  • Ensure compliance with Group HSEQ policies and procedures.
