The Commis Chef assists the Line Cook and Head of Station in all kitchen duties by preparing ingredients, cleaning the kitchen and cooking on the line when required.?Responsibilities and Duties:????????Assist in setting up station designated by PIC.???????Cross checks prep list and determines what a priority is.???????Maintains clear communication to senior chefs on what tasks are being undertaken.???????Assists the senior chefs in preparing the ingredients ready for service.???????Ensure all preparation is completed in an efficient and timely manner.???????Ensure all preparation is executed according to relevant SOP.???????Ensure FIFO is being used for all items.???????Checks if all the ingredients are prepared properly by their peers.???????Ensures designated station of the kitchen is stocked and ready for service.???????Any expired items to be made aware to senior chefs.???????Maintains sanitation in all areas of the kitchen and utensils used for cooking.???????Assists on the line to cook if required during busy service.???????To learn all stations and follow SOP?s of cooking techniques and procedures.?KPI?s:????????Prep Time to be below 8 minutes???????Deliveroo ratings to be 4.7 or more
