Job Description

?????????Resolve delivery, price or quality problems of all product category.?????????Manage vendor contract with an annual review plan to qualify renewal.?????????Responsible for supporting outlet operations with a sound and accurate purchasing schedule on a regular basis.?????????Work with Outlet Managers to ensure products are available in stores to meet customers need.?????????Thorough analysis of potential suppliers and annual review of existing suppliers reviewing costs, quality, delivery, and other pertinent factors.?????????Responsible for establishing and maintaining clear and effective purchasing policies and procedures.?????????Research and analyze data and market insights and consumer needs and wants?????????Plan and implement long-term development strategies for product categories?????????Design exit strategies for unsuccessful products?????????Negotiate with vendors for better pricing and quality.?????????Strategize positioning of a product category in order to maximize its visibility?????????Research competitors and suggest appropriate pricing and promotional activities??????????Manage and track budget?

  • Liaise with marketing and operations teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
  • Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories
  • Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory
  • Responsible to procure the right product at the right quantity at the right price and at the right time.
  • Spearhead and achieve the budgeted sales and Gross margin in their respective category, by developing & monitoring monthly the Sales and Margin plan
  • Develop tactical promotions, schemes and their execution to bolster brand and sales
  • Coordinate closely with Retail Ops team to ensure store stock norms are maintained and develop a SCM(Supply Chain Management) process
  • Coordinate and conduct training program?s for training on products and its display lay out to Stores category ?personnel?s.
  • Regular monitoring of ageing stocks and ensure communicating and executing mark downs to liquidate
  • Monitor competition market selling prices to remain competitive
  • Manage inventory levels to maximize sales.
  • Respond to customer?s queries about new products.
  • Implement weekly and monthly promotional strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market competitions.
