AccountabilitiesTo act as a technical guidance in the Workshop, advising technicians on tasks and sharing knowledge.To control and allocate the flow of work through the workshop to make the best use of staff, equipment and other resources.Maintain shop floor discipline and conduct periodic tool box meetings to update technicians on service bulletins and new repair methods.To ensure that there are sufficient staff rostered on shift at all times to meet service needs.To ensure special tools and equipment is well maintained.To ensure that pro-active planned maintenance is carried out on vehicles to prevent breakdown.To ensure that vehicles are serviced in accordance with OEM service standards.Follow up with parts controller to expedite supply of critical parts.To ensure that a safe and healthy work environment exists by adhering to company health, safety and environment policies.To ensure that each vehicle has a full documented history of work and other essential details are recorded in SAP
