Job Description

Job SummaryAssists in managing all media and public relations activity both internally and externally. Ensures that organization has the profile and level of publicity which supports and ensures that the messaging is in line with the organizations vision and brandJob Responsibilities 1* Monitors the implementation of an improvement process for all immigration and labour records to be tracked and maintained through the established organization system* Assists in developing, managing, periodical review, and communicating Government relations policies and processes to ensure organization compliances.* Ensures to resolve immigration related issues in a timely manner* Ensures proper dissemination and keep the HR team informed of significant problems that may jeopardize the achievement of company goals, and those are not being addressed adequately.* Facilitates and attend to employee queries regarding details of immigration formalities, and entitlements* Manages the processing of all ?immigration requirements in the most effective and efficient manner to expedite on boarding of new employees* Ensures to update relevant business areas with issues, risks, and statuses of immigration/government processes and provide relevant solutions in a timely manner.* Ensures immigration processes are completed in minimal time including Resident Permits, Drivers Licenses, Visas, CID procedures etc* Track and monitor relevant expiry dates and ensure that all time-sensitive documents and licenses are renewed ahead of deadline to ensure full compliance and avoid fines.* Maintains employee files and documents relevant to immigration transactions.* In charge in the preparation of the internal memos and responsible in the proper monitoring of the reference numbers assigned in all departments correspondences.* Arranges the labor contracts for signature and stamped before sending for attestation in the Labor Dept.* Ensures proper recording and updating the master files of exit permits, business visa renewal and RP renewal.* Keeps abreast with current labour/ immigration laws and update the HR staff on any changesJob Responsibilities 2Additional Responsibilities 3Job Knowledge & SkillsExperience in managing media relations in a Local Authority and /or private sector environmentBusiness awareness and a good knowledge of current affairs including a knowledge of local government services and / or the private sectorJob ExperienceTotal??8 year(s)On Job????4 year(s)GCC???2 year(s)CompetenciesAgility - DevelopingDemonstrates Resilience - DevelopingCultivating Loyalty & Integrity - DevelopingShows Entrepreneurial Spirit - DevelopingDemonstrates Accountability - DevelopingStrives for Innovation - DevelopingPromotes Teamwork - DevelopingSap-Success Factors Technical Knowledge L1Government Liaison L1Qatar Labor Laws And Other Ministry Regulations L1Hr Ppp L1EducationBachelors Degree in Arts or Business Administration
