Job Description

  • Assess and forecast the requirement of drivers.
  • Assist in Recruitment of drivers in line with the requirement arises.
  • Formulate the training as per contract requirements. Ensure contract requirements related to deployment of drivers such as Training and Gate Pass issuance are met within agreed timeline.
  • Act as a Primary focal point for drivers related with the clients starting from deployment and throughout the contract duration.
  • Maintain Drivers costs within the budget.
  • Manage records of Records of Drivers including ID, Driving License, Gate Passes and Training Certificates expiry dates and ensure the renewal of the same within the agreed timeline and as per the requirement.
  • Coordinate in arranging necessary uniforms and accessories such as coverall, Gas Detectors etc. as per the requirements.
  • Manage Drivers performance records for evaluation and assessing training needs.
  • Conduct periodic driver performance reviews and develop Individual Development Plans to assist drivers in reaching and maintaining required standards.
  • Proactively monitor Drivers performance development, Guide and address individual performance.
  • Initiate and co-ordinate team briefings that provide an opportunity for two way communication to ensure the awareness of key performance targets.
  • Asses the Drivers Transportation Requirements and manage the schedules and related costs.
  • Responsible for Allocation of Drivers in project requirements.
  • Develop supportive relations with drivers on a professional level.
  • Address Driver work related issues and Coordinate with drivers, staff and management to hold meetings and resolve issues.
  • Identify root causes on the issues arise and feedback outcomes to Management team.
  • Record and investigate all incidents and accidents in compliance with company and client processes to achieve substantial year on year reductions in accidents and aim achieving ?Zero? at fault accidents.
  • Conduct First Level exit interviews when drivers leave the business and identify and implement actions to improve driver retention levels.
  • Monitor Drivers Roaster and attendance to ensure enough rest hours and off days are provided as per the regulations.
  • Review and process Drivers Overtime in line with contractual obligations.
  • Maintain and approve Drivers Leave Planners to achieve maximum productivity.
  • Actively monitor/analyze the driver?s requirement in the market and support in expanding driver contracts.
  • Ensure safety compliance in the work environment and health and welfare of all the drivers.
  • Drivers Absence management including arrangement of replacement drivers timely and Control all aspects of driver conduct, including attendance and timekeeping.
  • Conduct and approve probation reviews of all new drivers after the period set by the company.
  • Ensure driver staffing levels are maintained at the optimum level.
