To perform various duties associated with the operation of cranes in Offshore
To operate all Platform Cranes including those on remote Wellhead Installations.?Report all malfunctions and defects associated with Platform Cranes.
To carry out Deck Foreman?s responsibilities such as plan deck crew jobs, offload / backload cargo. Supervise the rigging jobs, material distribution, waste segregation, housekeeping, washing of platforms and bridges.
To carry out HLO duties in respect to safety of personnel and equipment on helideck during helicopter operations.
Observe all safety rules and regulations concerning landings, take offs, shutdowns and refuelling of aircrafts.
Coordinate with FLO and flight crews

Carryout safe operation of the cranes by loading and unloading all types of material and equipment in accordance with specific lifting procedures.
Carry out all lifting operations in compliance with all associated safety rules and company regulations.
Transfer under special circumstances (bad weather conditions) personnel by basket from main platforms to boats and vice versa.
Carry out general inspection of cranes prior to operating them. Includes checking condition of wire ropes, brake system, bolts, pins, hydraulic / engine oils and greasing systems and report and any potential defects or malfunctions to Logistic Supervisor.
Assist maintenance and safety crews when carrying out work on cranes.?Includes repositioning of crane arm, lowering or lifting pulley, testing equipment, etc. as instructed by maintenance or safety crew.
Carryout Deck Foreman?s responsibilities such as lead the deck crew team and plan deck crew jobs, washing of platforms, cargo movements, backload / offload and distribution of cargo as required.?Ensure waste segregation and housekeeping is maintained.
Carryout the HLO duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
Ensure helideck clear for landing and take offs.?Checks all required fire / crash equipment is available and operational prior to ETA of aircraft.?Ensures standby vessel available and standing by 30 mins. prior to ETA of aircraft.

Supervise helideck assistants and passengers / freight on and off aircraft. Converses with Logistics Officer in regard to operational requirements.?Coordinates loading / offloading of aircraft with helicopter crews.
Responsible for the operation of the platform helicopter re-fuelling system according to field operating procedures.?Take fuel samples and test for contamination daily and prior to refuelling of aircraft.?Perform fuel system checks and maintain records including the record of fuel quantity in fuel bulk tanks.?Advise FLO when refilling of tanks is required.?Maintains proper records of fuel dispatched and received.
Supervise all rigging and scaffolding activities on platforms and meet environmental expectations by maintaining high housekeeping standards at all times.
Responsible for support of Company Safety, environment and quality policies and programs, and carrying out specific duties and responsibilities related to his job as identified in the Management system documentation, policies, procedures, local documentation, Management systems manual, Safety Manual and other related documents.
Arrange recertification of all lifting gears and equipment on NFB during bi-annual inspection and carry out corrective actions as per the inspection report.
Requirement to travel to remote Wellheads during the course of normal duties which may entail overnight stay.
May be required to be a member of the Emergency Response Team.
Use the equipment for the functions which had been prepared and determined by the direct superior.
Performs safety inspection of crane, wire rope, hooks, slings and rigging as required.
Daily maintenance of the crane including completion of daily check list.
Operation of various types of cranes, all terrain cranes up to 250 and hydraulic Truck mounted & RT cranes up to 80 Ton.
Performing other related duties such as changing a wheel, assisting a fitter, assisting in loading or unloading operations.
