Develop and administer standards, policies and procedures for the Food Safety Program to remain compliant with HACCP & ISO 22000 standards, legal provisions, codes of practices, applicable local and state safety procedures and regulations.
Spearhead establishing, implementing, and auditing of the ISO 22000 food safety standards.
Monitor?s performance of quality control systems and implement verification audits and inspections to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Supervises and maintains all management systems to manage processes or activities which meet organization?s objectives comply with regulations and meet environmental and/or wellness objectives.
Remains current on knowledge of trends and changes affecting Nutrition & Food safety, as well as develops and implements appropriate program changes to ensure governmental compliance.
Reviews statistical studies, technological advances, or regulatory standards and trends to stay abreast of issues in the field
Instructs vendors or contractors on quality guidelines, testing procedures, or ways to eliminate deficiencies to maintain safety standards.
Preparing weekly and monthly reports on the food safety monitoring aspects and presenting it to the management
Monitoring food safety objectives/KPI of each department related to food safety.
Coordinating with auditing and certification bodies during the audit and inspections
Calibration of all measuring equipment in support to food safety monitoring ? Site visit monitoring of food transportation and checking the facility to prevent contamination of food safety.
