Job Description

Ensure that Category Managers set a vision for their brands in alignment with the company and the suppliers and develop plans and strategies to achieve the same. It is important to have developed good relation with Key customers to see how the brand performs across the market to come up with right plans to correct the situation if it is required1.CONSUMER PROMOTION MANAGEMENT?To closely read stock levels and constantly communicate and maintain stock levels for consumer promotions.(first thing daily)?Periodical analysis of consumer promotions (Promotion stocks prepared, qty sold and balance available) and keep the Sales team updated (at least twice a week).?Brand launches; arrange bar codes and samples for listing. (As and when required).?Quality issues, regular reporting and attending of quality issues.2.INFORMATION MANAGEMENT & REPORTING?To provide market information and reports to ensure that management is fully informed at all times.?To closely monitor competition movement and to update the management accordingly supported with pictures / POSM.?To keep Area file (fact Book) containing details like:-K/A sales team JP, Retail Salesman JP, list of K/As, POSM Inventory, in market signage details, Gondola update, Promoters details, Agency information etc.?To submit market visit plan on a monthly basis.?To submit promotion evaluation report.?Ensure that yearly forecast is developed on the specified brands and accomplish it with zero variation?Work closely with Demand Planning department to ensure a proper buying process3.RESOURCE MANAGEMENT(TMM)?To manage all assigned budgets, materials and equipments in a secure and efficient manner in order to maximize the use of organization assets.?Ensure that budget given by the suppliers are not exceeded. Also make sure that the marketing claims are all done on time and liaise with finance for this matter4.SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT(TMM/DM)?Ensure product availability (physical stock - through coordinating with Logistics division & closely watching stock level at SAP) by SKU to ensure the company achieves the highest level of consumer satisfaction and trade satisfaction.?Ensure optimal stock levels, product quality and freshness (through liaising with concerned salesman & merchandiser) are maintained at store level.5.MARKET VISITS , SALESMAN ACCOMPANIMENT,COACHING(TMM/DM)?Achieve trade coverage through self market visit and salesman accompaniment in order to maximize route effectiveness and team efficiency.?Ensure coaching is provided to merchandisers as and when required, update them on brand strategy and planogram on a regular basis.?Training part time promoters.?Monitor the pricing in the market, ensure correct pricing is followed by K/A, conduct random checking. Initiate price tracker report.6.POSM / EVENT / SPONSORSHIP MANAGEMENT(TMM)?Identify and recommend target outlets, venues for POSM communication such as Signage placement, consumer contact programs and event sponsorships to achieve highest quality level of brand presence.?Gain trade participation and commitment in trade and consumer promotions, POSM placement, optimization of product positioning and impactful displays in order to maximize brand awareness and visibility.?Liaise with local Ad agencies and others (carpenters, electricians etc...) for successful implementation of Trade Marketing activities.?Managing of regular tasting activity. Obtain permission from targeted outlets.7.Financial?Ensure Gross Margin is maintained as per company strategy.?Ensure all debit note pertaining to supplier claims are maintained through proper coordination with the finance team and the claims for the same are submitted and secured on time.
