FSD Africa wishes to contract a consultant as a focal point and key representative for FSD Africa in Egypt and the North Africa region. The role is initially part-time with an anticipated level of effort of 10 days a month for six months.The UK Government?s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has provided a ?90m of new funding for FSD Africa to incubate five new financial sector development programmes in Africa in the 2020-2025 period and assess the possibility of new FSD programming in North Africa and Malawi. The consultant will support the roll out of preparatory work for a financial sector development programme in Egypt, with additional regional responsibility for North Africa including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya. The scope of the exercise will include but not limited to:?????????Develop of an impactful strategy and programme of work for FSD in Egypt and North Africa;?????????Acting as the focal point and key representative for FSD Africa FSD in Egypt and North Africa;?????????Conceptualise and develop a portfolio of Implementing Partners and Projects which will collectively be effective in driving impact & systemic change;?????????Manage the roll-out of projects so that results are achieved, risks are managed, and quality projects are delivered; ensuring that learning from projects is fully utilised to maximise impact and innovation;?????????Manage the resources associated with the FSD programme in Egypt and North Africa;
