The Candidate can be based either in Beirut, Egypt or JordanSCOPE OF POSITION: The Solutions Developer plays a crucial role in providing high value technology solutions to support branch/ region?s strategy and operations. This role demands alignment with operations, business, management teams at branch/ regional & corporate levels and plays many roles throughout the solution development lifecycle, from analysis, development to testing and implementation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • o Proactively communicate with internal and external customers to understand their challenges and provide innovative technical solutions.
  • o Responsible for successful development, implementation, and support of applications (including but not limited to web and mobile applications) according to the scope of work agreed with business users.
  • o Write scripts to streamline and automate operational processes.
  • o Responsible for developing reports and dashboards using various Business Intelligence tools such as Inetsoft, PowerBI, etc. for internal and external customers.
  • o Adhere to all development standards and procedures (i.e. SDLC, Secure Development Processes) of the company, and ensure solutions are built to scale and use enterprise approved technologies.
  • o Responsible for creating intuitive and detailed documentation for all projects and presenting the solution to stake holders.
  • o Collaborate with GEO/ CHQ-IS teams to improve capabilities and ensure alignment with processes.

QualificationsQUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • o Bachelor?s degree or higher in the area of information systems, data analytics or computer science.
  • o 5+ years professional software development experience.
  • o Good experience in most or all of the following languages: Java, C#, JavaScript, Angular, VBA, AutoIT, Python, HTML5, CSS, PHP etc.
  • o Possesses good knowledge in application development using any or all of the following environments: IntelliJ, Eclipse, Visual Studio.
  • o Expert in SQL (Structured Query Language) for working with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
  • o Knowledge of Visio, Project, PowerPoint and Advanced Excel functionalities.
  • o Knowledge about Web Scraping techniques, API and EDI interfaces, Robotics Process Automation tools such as UiPath.
  • o Familiarity in working with Business Intelligence tools such as Inetsoft, PowerBI, etc.
