Job Description

NI-CO is seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, confident, and self-motivated person to act as a short term expert who will facilitate governance and leadership modules to support the implementation of the above EU project based in AmmanThe overall objective of the project is to contribute to support social sector reforms and the development of an equitable and inclusive society in Jordan through the improvement and modernization of the social protection system.?Key Role:

  • To report to the Component Lead and provide professional support to the team on the Governance & Leadership Component of the Project.
  • To act as a facilitator and key link between international experts and senior leaders in the MoSD.
  • To support the team by contributing to the development of an integrated Governance and Leadership module to enhance processes throughout the MoSD.
  • To be part of the team that will deliver and improve Governance and Leadership in the MoSD.
  • To disseminate good practice in governance and leadership learning throughout MoSD to support continuous development and improvement in corporate culture, management process, and performance.
  • To assist in the development of a training plan which supports good governance and arrange roll-out of training in conjunction with MoSD leads and STEs
  • To support work undertaken as part of the Governance & Leadership component.
  • To review and understand all documentation produced ? training materials; guidance; policies and procedures, etc. ? derived from the project, and provide assurance that they are fit for purpose in Jordan
  • To support the Component Lead and International Experts in disseminating, sharing, and presenting information and papers with relevant stakeholders.
  • To support the Component Lead in coordinating project activities, meetings with the MOSD, delivering training and making links between relevant workstreams to ensure a cohesive, joined-up approach to Governance and Leadership in Jordan.
  • To contribute to the creation and sustainability of an open and learning culture that supports continuous improvement.
  • Develop close working relationships with leads in MoSD teams and International Experts and have communication strategies in place to ensure the flow of information.
