We are seeking a Senior Arts Manager to play an integral role in developing Seenaryo?s Theatre strand, as we grow the number of projects we run in Jordan. The Senior Arts Manager reports to Seenaryo?s Country Director in Jordan and works closely with the whole Jordan team. S/he will have regular contact via Zoom with our teams in the UK and Lebanon. S/he should have management experience in the non-profit sector and/or experience in directing, arts facilitation or mentoring freelancers. S/he should have a passion for arts.??Primary focus: establishing, managing and evaluating theatre projects, for children, youth and women. The role will also involve managing the Arts Manager and supporting the wider team with operational aspects of our work in Jordan.?Key responsibilities include:??????Managing the creative aspects of all theatre projects in Jordan, in line with current systems and processes (this could involve directing shows or facilitating workshops).??????Setting up & overseeing the project logistics (transportation, food/refreshments, managing Covid-19 guidelines).??????Running Theatre Leadership ToT, managing and mentoring freelancers and observing and troubleshooting rehearsal processes.??????Assisting with planning & strategy discussions relating to theatre programmes in Jordan, including contributing to ideas for new programmes and seeking out new partners.??????Contributing to the design and development of evaluation processes as well as independently running evaluation for projects, analysing data and producing reports.??????Completing risk assessments for all projects and being aware of safeguarding requirements for all projects (reporting issues where necessary to Safeguarding Lead).Other responsibilities may include:??????Contributing to the writing of management and donors? reports (as needed).??????Securing press coverage and preparing press packs for designated projects, as well as maintaining relationships with press contacts to ensure regular profiling.??????Generating relevant comms and social media content.??????Supporting wider team operations on general office management, systems and processes.?The role involves working closely with our staff team and partner organisations, as well as our beneficiaries. The Senior Arts Manager will be based at the Seenaryo Amman office in Shmeisani, Amman but the work will include visiting projects (in Amman and elsewhere).
