Job Description

Job PurposeUnder the supervision of the Program Development and M&E Officer (PDMO), and IMPACT HQ in Geneva, the IMPACT Program Intern (PI) is responsible for coordinating program development and tracking monitoring and evaluation for IMPACT.ObjectivesObjective 1: Grant ManagementIn coordination with the IMPACT PDMO, ACTED Regional Office and IMPACT HQ, the IMPACT PI is responsible for managing ongoing grants. This includes tracking all contractual obligations and ensuring that these obligations are met. Grant management responsibilities also includes organizing and leading grant kick-off and close out meetings for all grants, as well as project factsheets, leading on internal grant tracking, drafting monthly, bi-annual, and final reports based on inputs from research units, workplans, and other relevant requirements, and coordinating reporting with ACTED-Regional and Impact HQ. The PI will be responsible for updating and cleaning trackers and server. Where necessary, the PI will also assist the PDMO in the proposal development process including drafting proposals and annexes based on input from research units, preparing relevant appendices, and coordinating this process with ACTED Regional and Impact HQ.Objective 2: Monitoring and EvaluationThe IMPACT PI is responsible for tracking, and coordinating monitoring and evaluation of all regional research cycles. The PI will develop analytical reports on research output utilization based on quantitative data from SendinBlue, Google Analytics, and user surveys, and qualitative data gathered through key informant interviews and, will work with research units and the PDMO to develop strategies to improve research output utilization and impact. Also, the PI will be responsible for cleaning and tracking M&E logs and ensuring M&E trackers are updated. The PI will also be responsible for preparing all donor required monitoring and evaluation reports including baseline reports, mid-term reports, and final evaluations.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Tracking contractual obligations for existing grants and ensure that IMPACT regional are on track to meet these obligations;
  • Coordinate reporting requirements and draft reports based on inputs from research units;
  • Assisting in drafting annexes and proposals based on input from research units and coordinate the proposal development process between IMPACT regional, ACTED regional, and Impact HQ;
  • Track and update PD and M&E-related trackers and maintain servers;
  • Lead on grants and M&E-related project documents (project factsheets, kick-off meeting etc)
  • Tracking monitoring and evaluation for IMPACT regional, and lead in development of monitoring and evaluation reports
  • Other tasks as necessary
Key Performance Indicators
  • % of PD and M&E trackers correctly monitored and updated on a monthly basis;
  • Number of reports submitted on time
  • Number of program development meetings led, including project kick-off and close-out meetings
Salary: Paid Internship with 15 JOD payment per day.
