The U.S. Embassy Amman is seeking an individual for the position of?Management Advisor?in the?Management Office.BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:?The incumbent serves as the LE Staff Deputy to the Management Counselor within Mission Jordans management section.?The incumbent is a key member of a management leadership team that oversees the provision of services to more than 960 employees and 500 Eligible Family Members at this growing, 10th largest, Overseas Staffing Model Class 5+ Mission.??The incumbent will perform quantitative and qualitative research on a wide range of management issues to include but not limited to the ICASS community of 42 subscribing U.S. government agencies and offices and ICASS LE Staff Supervisors across each of the disciplines of the management platform. Incumbent works proactively to inform and communicate with USDH and Senior LE Staff clients on their most complex and sensitive management inquiries. Incumbent is responsible for compiling and analyzing data related to variable management activities i.e. rightsizing, financial disclosure, post profile, etc.?Incumbent will be the main liaison with senior and mid-level host government officials, and senior internal officers to include country team members, and various Bureaus and offices at the Department of State, including discussing special mission requests and requesting government permission.??Incumbent provides training at the post and works independently on cross communication and problem-solving exercises.?Incumbent will be the main liaison to communicate with Jordanian government ministries and officials to continue to build and maintain the existing mutually beneficial relationships. Incumbent gives guidance and work assignments to two FSNs in the Management section.
