? Plan short term and long term business goals for the business unit.?? Formulate the annual business plans in conjunction with the business plans and ensure the set targets are achieved.?? Implement sales and marketing strategies and review them against set goals, take proactive measures, if required.?? Allocate adequate resources to attain business goals and plan manpower requirement.?? Lead, motivate, train and develop a high performance team of professionals to achieve set targets.?? Foster strong business relations with key customers and principals.?? Arrive at profitable selling prices and align other relevant clauses/ conditions within the contracts.?? Have in-depth knowledge of downstream/upstream related business & the relevant markets, competitors etc and chalk strategies to attain and attract new customers and suppliers.??
