Job Description

The role designs, implements and promotes the career development programs for specific groups of employees. S/He supports in finding the best internal talents and incorporates them into different talent pools and responsible for the organization of all the training and development activities within Alshaya Enterprises.

  • Conduct annual training and development needs assessment to plan training for employees.
  • Designs, develops and leads the implementation of the career development strategy.
  • Connects the career development strategy with the business strategy and HR Strategy.
  • Partner with department heads on the development of success profiles, career paths and other programs to support employee growth.
  • Leads and manages the development of different career development programs for specific groups of employees and talents.
  • Promotes development programs in the organization. Regularly assess the results of development programs.
  • Formulate and implement improvement plans for underperforming employees.
  • Leads strategic organization wide projects focused on the development of high potentials and young leaders.
  • Hands-on execution of various training calendars by ensuring their timely implementation including sourcing for and procuring the programs, managing enrolments, handling exceptions, arranging the logistics, liaising with internal and external training providers to customize and develop the training programs and materials etc.
  • Train and coach managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
  • Plan, organize, facilitates employee development and training events.
  • Facilitates on-the-job training with qualified trainers.
  • Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings.
  • Building relationships with 3rd party training providers.
  • Track learning budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors.
  • ?Facilitate the annual Reward & Recognition process ensuring award is delivered in alignment with AE R&R guidelines.
