Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking potential candidates for the Procurement Manager position who will be˙responsible for overseeing all procurement activities, with a strong focus on food and packaging-related procurement, both locally and internationally.˙The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the food industry, demonstrating expertise in sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers effectively.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of food ingredients, packaging materials, and related supplies.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish strong supplier relationships.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and product availability to make informed procurement decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with production and inventory requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
  • Continuously optimize procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards in food procurement.
  • Manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.
