This client is a low voltage switchgear manufacturing & electrical trading company in Kuwait.What we offerFirst of all you will earn a tax free all-inclusive salary! Our client offers you excellent healthcare coverage, leave and end of service benefits as per Kuwait Labor Law.DescriptionOur client is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage the company?s supply of products and services, strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. Your duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and employees.

  • Understanding the requirements and work nature at the location where procurement looking after;
  • Planning & proper preparation of budget for the procurement management within the limits of the organizations potential based on studies;
  • Participate in the planning and preparation of executive programs for the management related to procurement;
  • Implementing plans for the management and procurement executive programs;
  • Training of personnel management for purchases on their business and the transfer of expertise to them so that they are qualified;
  • Planning and arranging the orders in time (as per the agreed demand);
  • Close following up in get things ordered and delivered on time as per the priority;
  • Have a good list of sources / suppliers, maintain, evaluate and improve them continuously;
  • Raise POs and handle each single order, till it arrives to the location concerned;
  • Get ready with all related documents and certificates to pass the global seasonal audit;
  • Money saving, while maintain the quality of the procured product / services;
  • Close the PO?s invoices with Finance and keep the suppliers account clear;
  • Build and maintain good business relationship with the suppliers;
  • Get the contracts signed by the Management / Contract Department from the suppliers, If required;
  • File each single PO properly without any discrepancy, and keep all related documents up to date;
  • Follow up for all approvals required through Local Authorities including Dept. of Local Customs.
