Agilitys network of warehouses are supported by state of the art technology and a range of value added services.The Role in briefThe Oracle Developer is responsible for carrying out various processes that lead to the creation and continuous development of functionalities, forms, and reports within new and existing systems used by the GIL Warehousing teams.Your ResponsibilitiesSupport the business by contributing to shaping the future direction of systems with the use of technical and business knowledgeAssist the technical team in analyzing and developing new functionalities within existing systemsUnderstand the database schemas, and lead the development and deployment of forms and reportsIdentify hardware and software system requirements; review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitationsSupport and administer systems during and post implementation; ensure proper documentation of programsEnsure compliance with all operational procedures and practicesProvide end-user support and trainingEnsure data integrityYour QualificationsBachelors Degree in Information TechnologyMinimum 5 years experience in the IT industry with relevant programming competenciesYour ProficienciesSolid knowledge in Oracle web programming and DBMS applicationsKnowledge in computer hardware and networking, an added advantageExperienced in MS SQL Server, Integration tools, Java ScriptKnowledgeable of various operating systems commands and utilities, and basic system administration toolsExcellent written and spoken English Highly analytical with good attention to detailsStrong problem solving skills with the ability to make sound and informed decisionsResults-oriented and able to demonstrate initiative and resourcefulnessInherent interest to stay on top of the latest technologies and to continue to build up current skill sets
