Job Description

The role holder is responsible for effective and efficient management of the Pricing sub-unit, and coordinating work within the sub-unit to ensure proper work flow and realization of departmental, unit, and sub-unit goals and KPIs.The role holder is responsible for managing and controlling execution of all Pricing activities in the Consumer Sector and ensuring an optimized and coherent pricing across the product portfolio.?

  • Provides input to the preparation of operational plan and annual budget plans for the Marketing Department in line with the stated Sectoral priorities in order to create synergies within the team
  • Manages and controls the annual budget spend as per the annual operating plan for the Pricing sub
  • unit and monitors deviations, if any, in order to optimize costs
  • Measures performance against sector KPIs for the Pricing sub-unit and provides guidance for achievement of targets in order to achieve high performance standards and continuous improvement
  • Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the Pricing sub-unit
? Owns and manages the pricing of products and services across the portfolio of offerings
  • Develops pricing strategy and supports other Marketing departments (Prepaid, Postpaid, and Broadband Services units) by providing guidance for service pricing
  • Oversees pricing benchmark studies, economic modeling and market based studies & analysis, as needed
  • Ensures portfolio pricing coherence with competitors
  • Ensures consistency in pricing across the entire products and services portfolio in a way that minimizes cannibalization
  • Develops scenario impact models on pricing and profitability across products and channels to evaluate cannibalization impacts of pricing decisions
  • Evaluates products pricing schemes to ensure a healthy product profitability
  • Conducts price sensitivity analysis on different customer segments, and analyzes impact of pricing changes on top-line and bottom-line performance
  • Ensures the accuracy of pricing information in the systems.
  • Ensures high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing on-going feedback and coaching to team members within the Pricing sub-unit
  • Supports the Sectoral & Departmental heads to create a culture of high performance, learning, and two-way feedback between top management and individual contributors in order to ensure high levels of employee morale
