Responsible for coordinating mechanical, electrical repairs and maintenance of the plant equipment of all, by following up the repair activities and resolving any problems and ensuring maintenance and provide quality maintenance at an optimal cost.
Implement full maintenance programs including, maintenance and repair services, ensuring all services are delivered on a timely basis.
Implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs and the installation, modification and /or repair of equipment in a manner which will assure employee safety, minimize production downtime and assure product quality.
Implement Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumental testing (s) on equipment as to safeguard the assets with regard to their operational longevity.
Ensure the availability of necessary Maintenance tools and equipment?s in order to execute tasks in an effective manner.
Ensure audit on the technical aspect of maintenance spares to ensure their relevance with current requirements and desired specifications.
Coordinate the maintenance and engineering works while ensuring minimal effects on the Operations plan.
Interact with the governmental agencies and insurance representative on fire prevention, safety inspection, environmental issues, etc.
Ensure regular checkups on active fire protection system (including fire detectors, fire alarm system, fire sprinkler system and/or firefighting foam system) to ensure it is operating effectively around the clock, and that fire extinguishers are evenly distributed on the company facilities.
Generate regular and special reports for the Management that summarize Maintenance activities and escalate critical issues to provide effective recommendations in meeting the key challenges.
Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
Prepare and submit periodic reports to direct management pertaining to Maintenance activities and any issues that may arise.
