Assist the facility manager in all related engineering works and facility operation and maintenance.
Monitor the maintenance work to contractors and sub-contractors in accordance with the operations and maintenance contracts, safety guidelines and the company?s policies and procedures to ensure a consistent high customer experience and avoid any disruption of the mall operations.
Inspect work performed by contracts and reinforce company standards.
Supervise the preventive maintenance for equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and gas system, generators, fire safety, etc.
Respond to break down calls, take required action to resolve the matter and provide root cause analysis.
Schedules emergency repair activities according to priority and assign work as required.
Perform routine inspections of internal and external lighting system, fire alarms, sprinkler system, elevators, etc. to identify maintenance requirements and take required action to ensure everything is operational.
Troubleshoot maintenance problems that arise and estimate the best course of action to resolve the problem.
Track movement of men & material and maintenance activities.
Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order, record their inventory and initiate equipment and spare parts purchases as and when required.
Follow up fit out works for new tenants, ensure required services are connected to the unit and perform regular and final inspections and reports.
Ensure maintenance requests from tenants are resolved.
Ensures that general safety and fire prevention regulations are enforced and safe working habits are promoted throughout the premises.
Record all relevant data in logbooks and makes all appropriate daily entries.
