Job Description

  • Responsible for implementing Technical Support Activities to all departments by monitoring and maintaining computer systems including troubleshooting computer hardware, audio visual systems, software, network connectivity and peripherals in addition configuring, installing, maintaining and repairing the same.
  • Provide technical assistance to internal users on all desktop systems encompassing PCs/ Laptops hardware and software, printers and other peripherals to ensure timely and effective resolution of all reported problems.
  • Maintain computer systems, Desktop Systems, PC, laptops, Hardware, software and telephone systems and surveillance systems and keep them updated and assist users in utilizing IT resources efficiently in accordance with high quality service standards required.
  • Assist in monitoring all office PCs and networking devices such as hubs and network storage and attend to basic level support problems and troubleshooting to ensure all peripherals are working properly.
  • Support and maintain systems including, but not limited to cabling, gateways, routers, switches and interconnecting LAN and WAN communication protocols, testing and fixing faulty equipment, etc.
  • Respond to breakdowns and investigate, diagnose and solve computer software and hardware faults for all departments.
  • Troubleshoot communications between computers, networks, data switches, printers, and other network resources to resolve operational issues and restore services, as well as maintaining and supporting the routers and switches, including upgrades and configuration changes.
  • Upgrade computers, peripherals, printers, A/V systems, network equipment and software applications (e.g. installation, testing, configuring, etc.) for meeting the computer processing needs of the employee.
  • Organize equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems or appropriate software.
  • Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems, remedial actions taken, and installation activities; maintain an updated inventory of all hardware and software resources.
  • Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager
