Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:The ERP Technical Support is responsible for effective design and implementation of Dynamics AX configurations and customizations. This individual uses .NET and AX native programming languages in developing solutions for the enterprise.?The developer will interact with ERP implementation team members and business members in creating effective solutions, and perform additional duties as assigned.?ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  1. Configure and customize Dynamics AX using .NET, X++ and other technologies.
  2. Develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.
  3. Develop and support interfaces/integrations between Dynamics AX and related systems.
  4. Create migration scripts for data import into Dynamics AX.
  5. Provide technical leadership in projects related to Dynamics AX
  6. Troubleshoot problems reported by Dynamics AX users.
  7. Make recommendations for future upgrades.
  8. Adhere to and help enforce the software development life cycle.
  9. Recommending use of unexplored functionalities of the application and suggesting changes in business for increased efficiency and optimization of resources.
  10. Monitoring workflows and observed health of application and third party tools
  11. Perform data analyst functions to insure ERP data is accurately maintained within the database.
  12. Create documentation and procedures guidelines for ERP systems users.
  13. Monitor and identify problems in any of ERP system.
  14. De-bug system errors; perform functional and technical troubleshooting jobs across all applicable AX Dynamics modules under all Alghanim Healthcare entities: Finance, Retail & POS systems, Trade, Call Center & Inventory management and HR & Payroll.
  15. Customize new functionalities and interfaces; design and implement technical solutions to develop existing application according to AHC business needs.
  16. Upload, manage and cleanse data.
  17. Test and manage system integration infrastructure and resolve malfunctions.
  18. Develop reports using SSRS tools and others.
  19. Develop the client requirement following the best practice and conventions of standard Dynamics AX.
  20. Knowledge in configuring Workflow and related business process.
  21. Monitor and manage the backup and restore procedures.
  22. Monitor and perform periodic review of Technical checklists on the ERP system for system stability and ideal performance.
  23. Create and manage Users and Roles administration on the ERP module.
  24. Any other task that may be assigned.
