Job Description

- Maintain and build good relations with government bodies, which are critical to business operations (e.g. Ministry of Social Affairs & Labour, Ministry of Industrial Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Interior and Immigration).- Oversee the Government relation work at company for residency transfer, renewal, cancellation.- Works with legal department to address legal and regulatory matters that affect government relations and regulatory/ legal issues.- Update management about changes in procedures and rules in government departments.- Support departments or individual employees to solve issues related to government affairs and ministries.- Coordinates Government Relation Team?s activity and monitors the quality of their work.- Follows up with the government officials on the progress of the transactions and acts as necessary in case of delays and or raise an issue.- Updates the internal regulation and procedures according to the legislation changes.- Liaise with municipality, economic department and any other government departments in relation to Trade Licence/ setting up of new office etc.- Review local and overseas agreements on a regular basis for obtaining the license from ministry of commerce & industry.- Review documentation prepared by the Officers and submission to?Government Relations to secure of Commercial Certificate, Import License, Municipality and Firefighting license prior to submitting to the Ministry of Commerce and Chamber of Commerce for approval and registration.?- Oversee the license and contracting registrations and renewal work.- Contribute in the advisory prepared in the company owners and management on the business licensing procedures.- Monitor and update the record of government licenses and business permits.- Review the latest legislation affecting the companies licensing & business.- Ensure Renewal of all company related licenses on timely manner,- Prepare reports to update management on revisions/ amendments to laws / regulations.- Renewal of rental agreement and the maintenance of the company.- Maintain ministries Authorized Signatory ?Shoon Itmad Towkya?, Shoon Quota.- Maintain kuwaitization quota and handle documentation required for Kuwaiti staff.- Organise and manage reports related to Employee, visa-renewal and cancellation, licensing and contracts, kuwaitization quota, petty cash, telephone, electricity, rental agreements etc.- Coordinates with Government Relation staff - GA team, secretarial team, Arabic Support team and Mandoobs, PROs, and monitor their work and performance.
