Faculty in Humanities & Sciences (Part Time)Job Location : Abu DhabiRequirements:?Master?s degree in Social Science/ Innovation and Entrepreneurship.?Minimum Five (5) years of teaching experience and/or two (2) years of teaching experience in Higher Education after completing the Master?s degree.?Minimum Five (5) years of teaching experience and/or two (2) years of teaching experience in Higher Education after completing the Master?s degree.?Sound knowledge in your subjects/ specialized area?Familiarity with the new teaching methods, visual communication and the need to equip students with the varied skills they must have to succeed in an ever-changing environment.?Excellent communication skills, a commitment to the importance of student engagement & success, innovative thinking, and an understanding of the role of the university in student?s development for future work environment?Ability to teach both in English and Arabic is an advantage.?Experience of establishing the new program is an advantage?Experience in working with people from different ethnic backgrounds?Valid UAE Residency Visa.The principal tasks include:?Engage in teaching, developing teaching resources, and working on teaching teams for courses in the social science program?Work with Subject coordinators on the development of subjects.?Covering all the Teaching and Learning activities (lectures, workshops, etc.) as planned in the curriculum?The marking and assessment of student academic performance and progression quality.?Attendance at departmental and faculty meetings.?Significant contribution to the profession, and/or discipline.?The performance of other duties as assigned by the Head of the Program.Information:Candidates must obtain the Equivalency Certificate for their highest qualification/s from the MoE, UAE.
