You will be responsible for the design and oversight of the implementation of Enterprise Technology architecture and infrastructure to meet business and technical requirements.Client DetailsA leading organisation in Abu Dhabi building a brand-new Technology function as part of the groups aim of internalising IT.DescriptionDevelop and update the Enterprise Technology strategy, architecture and integration roadmap including monitoring and evaluating future business requirements.Develop and update the Enterprise Architecture framework, policies, procedures, and processes.Ensure the implementation of the Enterprise Technology architecture is performed to a consistent standard and follows an integrated approach across all enterprise technology architecture. This includes defining the relationship between the users, business model, application layer, infrastructure layer (including cloud), data layer, integration layer, and the security layer.Coordinate with end users to ensure that the Enterprise Technology strategy, architecture, and applications support business plans.Research and develop new technology, infrastructure and applications while evaluating applicability and alignment with the organisations risk appetite, business requirements and design principles.Provide expertise in infrastructure hardware and software evaluation, selection, and implementation.Provide feedback on aspects related to the efficiency and effectiveness of newly introduced systems, identifying areas for improvement, and suggesting measures for delivery.Ensure Enterprise Technology projects planning, development and related matters are in line with the Enterprise Technology Strategy and Enterprise Architecture.ProfileBachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Enterprise/Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.Must have at least one Enterprise Architecture related certification: TOGAF 9 or Zachman (Practitioner or Professional level).Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in implementing Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategic Planning or related field and 4 years of leadership experience.Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Technologies (both infrastructure and applications including Cloud Migrations) as well as a fundamental understanding of Software Engineering toolsets and processes used by new age companies (Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Devops etc.).Demonstrated track record and expertise in architecting technical resolutions that include Microservices, AI/ML platforms (SageMaker, Data Robot, etc.), data management and pipelines (Spark, AirFlow, Synapse, ELK etc.), continuous integration / continuous deployment (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform etc.), API Management (Software AG, Tibco, IBM, Websphere, Mulesoft, etc.) would be highly desirable.Job OfferCompetitive salary with family benefits such as schooling assistance on offer for the right candidate.
