Position Title:???????Database AdministratorEmployment Type:???Full Time?Salary:?????????????up to 20K AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualificationsJob Location:???????Abu Dhabi, UAEAbout the Client:?The hiring company is a technology driven engineering group with expertise in different sectors such as aerospace, electronics, land systems and marine industriesJob Role:Deliver large scale public transportation related projectsProvide a seamless flow of information considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users.?Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user?s specialised role?Design and implement database in accordance to end users? information needs and views?Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a?timely manner?Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data?Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses?Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users?Requirements:?40 y/o and belowBSc Degree in Computer Science, IT or any relevant certification?Minimum 5 years? experience of proven work experience as a Database Administrator; with previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools is preferredWith hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications?Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, etc.?Strong experience with database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL etc.)?Good understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling?Must be familiar with database design, documentation and coding, and programming languages API?Extensive problem-solving skills, mathematical and statistical knowledge, and ability to think algorithmically?Excellent written and verbal communication skills
