Associate Director/Director - Technical Services (Infrastructure)

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the top - tier developers in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is looking to hire an Associate Director/Director - Technical Services (Infrastructure) who would be responsible foroverseeing the planning, management, and coordination of engineering and technical design disciplines across all projects throughout the development cycle. The role is both strategic and technical. At a strategic level, this role will also be responsible for setting goals for the team, hiring engineers for the organization, and overseeing wider technical initiatives.<br /><br />- Manager of technical services team, across all infrastructure, engineering and technical service disciplines (including civil, structural, wet and dry services, , electrical, transport, environment and sustainability etc.) providing mentorship, support and coaching to department staff.<br />- Coordinate with and provide guidelines to the various discipline leads of the department throughout the planning and design process.<br />- Work alongside stakeholder management team to ensure authority approvals.<br />- Develop and deliver against the procedures for infrastructure, engineering and technical service design input across all stages of projects.<br />- Develop and manage proper delivery against standardized scope and specification documentation for all infrastructure, engineering, and technical service design related consultant engagements.<br />- Act as the primary point of contact to interface internally and externally on all issues related to engineering and technical services design and delivery.<br />- Interact with internal and external stakeholders to develop requirement specific solutions.<br />- Initiate new ideas, innovation, and research<br />- Ensure technical services team provides quality design and on-time delivery.<br />- Input and oversee value engineering across all infrastructure, engineering, and technical service design disciplines.<br />- Manage the technical and engineering aspect of all design related contracts and act as a lead contact for all development services providers.<br />- Accountable for engineering and technical services design disciplines, during all planning, master planning, and design stages. Reporting the right visibility to the Executive Director, Design, CPO and CEO.<br />- Provide guidance and direction to infrastructure and technical services design disciplines managers in addressing deficiencies.<br />- Input on the development of timelines for infrastructure, engineering and technical service design activities in the department and ensure the progress against the set timelines.<br /><br />Requirements- A Bachelors or Masters level qualification in infrastructure, engineering related discipline/ field.<br />- More than 15 years experience post graduate experience in real estate development, with proven track record of leadership managing multiple, large, cross-functional/ multi-disciplinary teams of which at least 5 years at management level.<br />- Chartered membership of a professional engineering or design institution.<br />- Previous UAE experience required.<br />- Proficiency in Arabic language is a plus.<br /><br />BenefitsAttractive salary + Benefits<br />
