JOB SUMMARYPerforms scheduled and unscheduled aircraft electrical systems maintenance. Carries out directivesfrom the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team and unit operations.MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES1. Perform inspection, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of aircraft and equipmentelectrical systems in accordance with applicable technical publications, applicableregulations, and company and local policies and procedures. Assists in ensuring aircraft andequipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.2. Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities inaccordance with DA PAM 738-751, applicable technical publications, applicableregulations, and company and local policies and procedures.3. Impart the knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner (advice, support,and On the Job Training to customer trainees) to permit assimilation into the workforce; thefinal aim being to enable the customers technicians to attain gradual full capacity to carryout self-sufficient aircraft electrical repair capability.4. Carry out all assigned tasks by the Supervisor in support of the maintenance team andunit operations.OTHER FACTORSMust be willing to travel in support of the company?s operational requirements. Knowledge of computer applications. Proficient in the use of MS Office suite and applications (Word ? Excel ? Power Point-Project) Outlook, Adobe and the internet.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to bend, climb on and off the aircraft. Stand for prolonged periods of time, and be able to lift heavy objects (KG) plus work outside in excess of C.
