Job Description

Employment: Full Time Principal Responsibilities:Statutory Accounting & Reporting leading and taking ownership of the monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting cycle and control environmentMonthly Management Accounts checking and validation of data submission from various real estate assets, carrying out various balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flows along with necessary explanatory notesOperational Reports preparation and/or checking of various operational reports such as rent roll etc.Interaction with Asset Managers, Leasing and FM Managers interactions will be to ensure that accounting team has all the necessary information in order to prepare monthly and annual accountsAuditor Interaction primary contact for external auditorsBusiness Planning coordination and preparation of the 5 Year Business Plan on a yearly basis, including liaison with project managers/investee companies and preparation of presentation for senior managementFinancial Planning & Analysis monitoring of performance against budget including regular reforecasting and reporting variances and risks and opportunities in the forecast/budget to managementIFRS Technical research and resolution of technical accounting queries within the business unit and beyondFinancial Decision Support provide accounting/finance advice, analysis and support to project managersFinancial Processes and Procedures periodically review and improve the financial processes and procedures to ensure they remain relevant and effectiveGovernance maintain and strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with group policies and procedures, including Procurement Policy and Delegation of Authority Salary: AED 6,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances. REQUIREMENTS: Technical Competencies REQUIREMENTS:Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CPA/CMA or other recognized accounting qualification7 years post qualified experience within a professional finance environmentUAE Real Estate industry experienceHigh standard of (numerical) presentation skillsExperience of interacting with multiple asset/projects and finance functionsExperience of working within a multi-cultural environmentAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAdvanced knowledge of other Microsoft office tools such as Word & PowerPointKnowledge of Yardi, Hyperion Financial Management, and Oracle.
